South East Cornerstone Public School Division requires the service of a Coordinator of Curriculum & Instructional Technology who will report to the Deputy Director of Education. Office location will be determined through consultation with the successful applicant and the Deputy Director of Education.
Term:
This is a continuing contract that will commence on August 25, 2025.
Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor of Education Degree from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education
• Saskatchewan Professional “A” Teaching Certificate
• Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience. School level administration would be an asset.
• Master’s Degree in Education from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education is preferred
• Knowledge of Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and the Ministry of Education initiatives
• Additional qualifications, certification, experience and/or training within specific areas of responsibility may be required in addition to those listed above
• Knowledge of effective practices in education
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities:
Without restricting the generality of this job description, the Coordinator of Curriculum & Instructional Technology shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned including but not restricted to, the following:
• As a member of the Learning Support Team, remain current in effective practices to provide leadership in reviewing, assessing and improving the education programs within the school division
• To ensure and support the actualization of Saskatchewan’s core curriculum and related Ministry initiatives through leadership and coordination
• Liaise with the Ministry of Education for all aspects around curriculum
• To plan and provide ongoing professional development opportunities to staff as it relates to curriculum and information technology.
• Support the actualized programming at the school level as it relates to instructional technology.
• Develop budget as it relates to the expenditures, equipment, resources, programming and support of curriculum actualization and instructional technology.
• Provide leadership for committees and teams for system level initiatives
• To uphold and support Board goals, policies and Administrative Procedures
• To support staff in setting goals for professional growth and development
• To coordinate system level support to all relevant staff
• To plan and facilitate meetings and professional growth opportunities at a division level
• Attend meetings as required by the Senior Leadership Team
• Conduct oneself in a manner appropriate to an educational institution providing services to children
• Be willing to engage in lifelong learning with respect to professional development, training, in-services and courses of study.
• Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by the Deputy Director of Education.
• Be knowledgeable about and supportive of Administrative Procedures and directives
• Oversee and coordinate the implementation of software systems including but not limited to Edsby, MySchoolSask, Library Automation System, Witsby.
Salary & Benefits
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.
